Let’s do a Caribbean Cruise and destination vacation comparison. Assume, if you will, that you have rented a nice condo in some vacation paradise. After you have dragged all of the family stuff into the condo what’s the first thing you do? Start preparation for the next meal. You will probably have to prepare a meal plan, go to the grocery store and then cook the food and clean the dishes and plan tomorrow’s activities. First thing in the morning everyone has got to eat again, make the beds, tidy up the condo from last night, and do some more dishes. Drag the family out to have some fun, eat at some fast food restaurant so you don’t blow the budget, have some more fun and then go home to a nice dinner which you will have to prepare, do some more dishes, hit the sack and dream about doing it all again tomorrow. Are we having fun yet? Is this really a vacation or just a relocation? Now let’s take a Caribbean Cruise! We bring our luggage to the cruise ship, we go onboard, get oriented, and find our stateroom. What a surprise… our luggage is already there waiting for us. Freshen up and it’s time to explore the ship; find the pool, the casino, the lounge, the theatre, the spa, the library, the shops and walk the deck and then after you’ve had a chance to relax and unwind its time for dinner but this time you will dine in a 5-star restaurant on a meal prepared by a professional chef. It will look just as good as it tastes and it will not break the budget because it’s included in the cruise price. You won’t have to clear the table or do the dishes tonight; you have cruise staff for that. Just decide if you would like to take in a movie or stop at the casino or watch a live performance or relax on deck and take in the night sky and smell the fresh sea breeze. That sounds awful doesn’t it? Tomorrow you can do it all again except you may be able to take a shore excursion planned through your cruise concierge to explore one of the beautiful islands, walk in the sand, visit the local shops or just lay on the beach and when your day is finished your shuttle is waiting to take you back to the cruise ship. Stroll back to your room to freshen up and you find everything in order, beds made, room primped and you are ready for that 5-star dinner the chef prepared just for you. After dinner you can relax or be entertained and tomorrow you can do it again. That’s a vacation! Not just a relocation. Get away from it all, see some new sites, leave the details and planning to your cruise line staff and completely relax! You are the guest here and the cruise staff is at your service. The good news is that the food and most of the beverages onboard and the entertainment is included in the price. Dollar for dollar you can’t beat it. There is more great news for you…Because of the challenging economy the cruise lines are pulling back prices and that’s a win for you. Don’t wait for the prices to come back, book your Caribbean Cruise NOW! You deserve it! See you in the Caribbean! Tom and Julie if you are not having any fun you probably stayed home ! |
